We are pleased to announce that Symmetry Dimensions Inc. (Headquarters: Delaware, USA; CEO: Shogo Numakura; hereby referred to as SYMMETRY), which develops digital twin technologies and related visualization solutions, and Space Shift, Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo, Japan; CEO: Shigeo Kanemoto; hereby referred as Space Shift), which develops satellite data analysis technology under the theme of "unraveling the mysteries of the universe with AI", have agreed to a partnership to utilize each company's respective technologies to develop and maintain a digital twin.
Details of the partnership
Using Space Shift's radar satellite data analysis technology, we will survey surface data of the earth and update the digital twin that SYMMETRY constructs on a monthly, weekly, and eventually daily basis. Space Shift's satellite data analysis technology and SYMMETRY XR technology make it possible to visualize a wide range of digital twins in real time using a variety of devices. In the future, we aim to work with them to enable services for industries such as construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, urban planning, and disaster countermeasures.
※"Digital twin" is a technology which digitizes physical locations, objects, systems and people and constructs digital twin data to enable analysis and prediction.
